The situation about COVID-19 in Canada has been studied in-depth by the group. By clicking the name of the province or Canada listed below, corresponding up-to-date data visualization will be displayed. We provide visualization results from various angles including an overview of the pandemic situations, characteristics of the trends at the city level, the mortality/recovery rate in relation to demographic features, with the attention particularly focused on the severely infected provinces. We hope to provide timely visualization results and new insights to help better understand the COVID-19 situation in Canada. Time series cumulative cases in Alberta are visualized to picture the trends of cases in each category. Based on the data from Government of Alberta, recovered cases increase faster than active cases.







Recovery rate for each age and gender group is computed by the number of recovered cases for particular age and gender group divided by number of confirmed cases in this age and gender group.



Fatality rate for each age and gender group is computed by the number of people who died for particular age and gender group divided by number of confirmed cases in this age and gender group.
